Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef 80/20
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning salt your favorite all-purpose seasoning salt
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs Panko bread crumbs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried
  • 1 tablespoon parsley dried
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, grease the loaf pan, and set it aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves, then set the mixture aside.
  • Season the ground beef with all-purpose seasoning and set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and milk.
  • Then, add the seasoned ground beef, diced bell pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, egg, garlic, onion powder, thyme, basil, parsley, paprika, and black pepper to the bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients together gently until well combined. You can mix by kneading with your hands, stirring with a spoon, or using a stand mixer on low speed.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to the greased loaf pan, and evenly spread the prepared ketchup glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until it is no longer pink in the center. Once done, slice, serve, and enjoy!
