Starbucks White Hot Chocolate Copycat Recipe

What is the best hot chocolate from Starbucks?

The answer to this is simple. The easy to order and even easier to make at home – white hot chocolate!

Discover this perfect indulgence this holiday season. This Starbucks-inspired drink is rich, creamy, and surprisingly addictive!

Covered in whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon (optional), you’ll find yourself sippin’ on happiness like nothing ever before.

What is Starbucks white hot chocolate?

For this copycat version of Starbucks’ iconic white holiday hot chocolate, the ingredients are straightforward and simple: (vanilla almond bark, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract).

4 real ingredients with no artificial flavors or sugar substitutes. This recipe is fast, and best of all – it tastes just like what you would get at your local Starbucks store!

Starbucks White Hot Chocolate

What’s in Starbucks white hot chocolate?

Starbucks white hot chocolate will make your heart melt.

It starts with the delicately sweet vanilla almond bark that melts so smooth and not lumpy like white chocolate. (Unlike milk and dark chocolate, white chocolate is not even really chocolate – but that’s a separate conversation covered later!)

Then the creamy texture from the whipping cream. Plus a dash of delicious vanilla extract for an authentic and divine flavor!

Can you make this recipe with white chocolate candy melts?

White chocolate doesn’t melt as evenly as almond bark. And technically, white chocolate is not chocolate since it doesn’t contain chocolate solids.

So it’s much easier to use vanilla almond bark for this recipe. Almond bark gets its name from its original use, covering almonds, nuts, and candy because it’s so easy to melt.

How particular is it to have the chips be white chocolate vs. white chocolate morsels?

To keep this recipe easy, I wouldn’t suggest trying to melt small white chocolate chips or chocolate morsels for this recipe.

Instead, keep it simple with the large portions accustomed to almond bark.

How do you make Starbucks white hot chocolate?

Why spend your hard-earned bucks on one little cup of deliciousness when you can make it for less at home?

Simply put all ingredients in an Instant Pot (or slow cooker) and heat them until the almond bark is melted. The process doesn’t take long at all!

Could this be done in a Crockpot?

Yes. Because this is a slow cooker recipe, you can just as easily make this white hot chocolate in a Crockpot.

With just four ingredients, you can enjoy your way into winter in sweet style with the decadent indulgence that only an all-natural white hot chocolate delivers.
