How do you quick-release your Instant Pot safely?
When you are finished cooking in your Instant Pot and want to release the pressure, there is a quick-release method and a natural release method.
The quick-release method involves turning the knob on top of the lid counterclockwise until it can’t go any further (positioning the knob/valve down). When you do this, steam will release from the knob/valve on top of the Instant Pot.
The natural release method involves waiting for approx 10-15 minutes (depending on the recipe) after the pressure cooking time has reached zero before releasing any remaining pressure manually.

The quickest way to reheat your Instant Pot glazed carrots is by placing them in a microwave-safe dish and microwaving them on high for 60 seconds.

However, if you prefer to avoid microwaves, place your carrots into the Instant Pot with a small amount of water. Close the lid and use the pot’s ‘keep warm’ setting for about 10 minutes or until the carrots are heated through.

Wow! Super easy recipe to enjoy carrots.. What can I replace for thyme?
Yes, super easy & delicious is always the mission! You can try oregano if you don’t have thyme – or simply leave it out if you don’t have it. The carrots will still glaze nicely.
